MOMPOX Inc. (hereinafter “MOMPOX”), an American company incorporated and existing under the laws of Delaware, United States, and having its principal place of business at 1500 Weston Rd Suite 214, FL 33326, USA, acknowledges the importance of safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity and security of its users’ and customers’ non-public personally identifiable information (hereinafter “Personal Data”). Personal Data which you provide through (hereinafter the “Website”) will be processed in accordance with all applicable privacy laws and regulations currently in force.

This policy describes how MOMPOX and its affiliates collect, use, and share personal information, unless a particular affiliate has a different privacy policy posted on its website, in which case that privacy policy shall describe that affiliate’s collection, use, and sharing of Personal Data. The “affiliates” referred to in this privacy policy currently include MOMPOX Design S.A.S., a company duly incorporated and existing under the laws of Colombia, and such other affiliates as MOMPOX may acquire or launch from time to time.

  1. Key terms

Personal Data” means any information that may be used to identify an individual, including, but not limited to, a first and last name, a home or other physical address and an email address, phone number or other contact information, whether at work or at home. It does not include personal information that is encoded or anonymized, or publicly available information that has not been combined with non-public information.

Sensitive Personal Data” is information that meets the “Personal Data” criteria and also a) reveals race, ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, or b) concerns health or sex life, information about social security benefits, or information on criminal or administrative proceedings other than in the context of pending legal proceedings.

“Browsing Data”:The computer systems and software procedures in charge of the Website’s operation acquire, during their normal operation, some Personal Data (so-called log files), the transmission of which is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols.

This information is not collected in order to associate it with identified data holders but because of its very nature, it can allow or facilitate user identification through treatment and integration with data held by third parties. This category includes the IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users to connect to the Website, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) form addresses of the resources requested, times of request, methods used to submit requests to the server, the size of the files obtained in reply, the numerical code indicating the status of the reply given by the server, and other parameters concerning a user’s operating system and computer environment.

These data are used with the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information concerning Website use and to help monitor Website operation.

MOMPOX collects and will process the Personal Data you directly and voluntarily provide through the Website (i) as part of your registration process in the Website, (ii) for purposes of receiving information on MOMPOX and/or its products and services, and (iii) to contact our customer service.

The provision of Personal Data is optional. You are under no obligation to provide any such information. Your Personal Data will be processed by suitable means using electronic or automated computer and telematics tools, or manually and on hard copy, exclusively for the purposes for which it has been collected, guaranteeing the security and confidentiality of all Personal Data processed.

Your Personal Data will be processed by MOMPOX and its internal staff (employees and collaborators) duly authorized for such processing within the scope of their duties, and possibly by external parties whenever necessary and / or instrumental for the execution of the above-mentioned purposes (e.g. service providers, couriers, technicians in charge of IT maintenance, companies used by MOMPOX for the organization and/or management of promotional campaigns for its products or services, among others).

  • Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, pixel tags, and/or other similar technologies to collect visitor information.

Cookies, for example, are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser. They make it possible for us to store the contents of your shopping cart until you are ready to check out, recognize your browser when you visit the Website and provide you with information about products that interest you. MOMPOX may share your Personal Data in the following ways:

  1. Brands: When you provide Personal Data through our Website, we may share this information with the companies and / or brands whose products you purchase through the Website. 
  1. By You: You may disclose Personal Data when you post content to our websites, in-store technologies or other public fora, such as our brands’ social media pages, blogs, and online product reviews. Any information that you disclose through these services will become public.
  1. Social Sharing: Your Personal Data may be disclosed in connection with your social sharing activity, such as if you log into your customer account from your social media account. Loyalty Programs: If you choose to participate in any third party loyalty or similar program in which a MOMPOX brand is a participating vendor, and you authorize MOMPOX or our credit card processor to provide information about your purchases to the company administering the program, we will share your Personal Data with that program. Loyalty programs allow you to earn “points” on purchases at MOMPOX brands, which you may then use toward certain rewards offered by the loyalty programs in which you participate. The information you authorize us to disclose to third party loyalty programs may include your credit card number and the date and amount of your purchase, as well as your name and other information you have asked us to provide. Please note that once we disclose this information, the loyalty company may use and share it with others in accordance with its own privacy policy.   1. Business Transfer: In the event of a sale or merger of MOMPOX, or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates, our customers’ Personal Data and other information we have collected as described in this policy may be among the transferred business assets.

In addition to the above, we use third party service providers to serve ads on our behalf across the internet and on our Website, as well as to report traffic and other advertising statistics.
